The problem was never the work

Northgate's engineers were good. The evidence of that was scattered across three systems, four regional spreadsheets and about six hundred phones. When a framework client challenged a response time, the ops team spent two days rebuilding a timeline that the business had never actually held in one place. The attainment number in the monthly pack was an argument, not a measurement.

Putting one lane under every promise

The first region went live in seventeen days. Nothing was ripped out: the CAFM kept creating jobs, telematics kept reporting position, and the service desk kept taking calls. Verolane sat above all three and gave every one of those inputs the same shape — a commitment, with a tier, a window and an evidence rule. Planners could finally see the whole region without switching tabs.

Drift changed the conversation

The change that ops leads talk about is not the board. It is the number. A predicted drift of forty minutes at 11:00 is a decision; a red dot at 15:30 is a post-mortem. Within a quarter the duty leads had stopped reacting to breaches and started clearing exceptions — typically within twelve minutes of detection, with a recorded outcome the client could read.

We stopped arguing about what happened and started agreeing what happens next. That is the entire difference.

The monthly pack writes itself

Attainment, drift attribution and evidence packs now generate against each framework's own service schedule and land in the client's portal on the contracted day. The two days of rebuilding disappeared. More usefully, so did most of the disputes: when both sides read the same record, there is very little left to disagree about.

Next step

Seventeen days is not a sales number.

It is how long the first Northgate region took, running in parallel with the old process. We will tell you in the scoping call what yours realistically looks like.
