How it works

One lane, six stages, and a number that tells you when to act.

Verolane is not another system of record. It is the layer above the ones you already run, giving every customer commitment the same shape and the same live measurement of how far it has moved from the window you sold.

The operating picture

The board is the product.

Every open commitment is one horizontal line. The marker is where the work has reached; the bar beyond it is predicted drift from the committed window. Filter the board below — it is the real interface, running on sample data.

The lane

What happens at each stage

Whatever raised the work — a call, a sensor, a planned schedule — it travels the same six stages, so a duty lead reads one board rather than four systems.

01Intake

Work arrives from your CAFM, service desk, sensors or inbox and is deduplicated against anything already open at the same site.

02Scheduled

A window and a tier are applied from the contract, and the commitment is assigned by skill, travel cost and load ceiling.

03En route

Travel signals start scoring drift. The window is confirmed with the site contact automatically where the contract requires it.

04On site

Progress, findings and evidence come from the crew view. Scope discovered on arrival raises a second commitment rather than hiding in this one.

05Verify

Evidence gates check what the contract asks for before settlement is allowed. Failures return a reason code, not a rejection.

06Settled

The commitment closes with its evidence pack, its drift attribution and a decision trail that can be handed to the customer.

Drift

A prediction you can argue with.

Drift is recalculated on every signal from travel, crew load, parts position, site history and the commitment's own record. It carries a reason code and a confidence band, so nobody is asked to trust a score they cannot interrogate.

Crew loadWhat this engineer is already holding today, and the hard ceiling on their day.
Parts positionVan stock and depot availability at the moment of assignment, not at the moment of failure.
Site historyThe gate that always holds, the dock that always overruns, the ward that needs two trades.
ConfidenceSignal density at the site sets the band. Rules can require a minimum before they fire.

Exception desk

Three resolutions, written by your own ops leads.

Every reason code carries a small set of actions that genuinely resolve it. Choosing one notifies the customer, moves the crew, records the decision and updates the board — in a single step.

Planning

A day the crews can actually deliver.

Assignment ranks by real travel time, respects certification and site induction status, and stops at a load ceiling you set. At shift end the handover note writes itself from whatever is still open.

Day one

What the first month actually looks like.

Nothing is ripped out. One commitment type, one region, run in parallel until the board is trusted.

Onboarding checklist

  • Connect your work source

Point Verolane at the system that already creates jobs — a CAFM, a service desk, or a shared inbox.

  • Describe one commitment type

Pick the promise that hurts most when it slips. Set its window, its tier and its evidence rules.

  • Map regions and crews

Import the people who do the work and the areas they cover. Skills drive assignment.

  • Turn on the first signal rule

Start with the drift guard. One rule, one channel, no automation you cannot explain.

  • Invite the exception desk

Planners and duty leads get the desk. Everyone else gets read-only lanes.

Next step

See one afternoon of your own operation on a single line.

Bring the commitment that slips most often. We will shape it, connect its source system and show you the drift you are currently finding out about too late.
