Verolane Ltd is the controller for personal data collected through this website and the processor for operational data our customers place in the platform.

What we collect

• Contact details you submit through an enquiry form.
• Account information for users of the platform, including name, work email and role.
• Operational data supplied by our customers, which may include crew names and location signals.
• Technical data such as pages requested, approximate region and browser type.

Why we use it

To answer enquiries, to provide and secure the platform, to meet our contractual and legal obligations, and to improve the service. We do not sell personal data and we do not add enquiries to a marketing list without a separate opt-in.

Lawful basis

We rely on legitimate interests for responding to business enquiries and securing the service, on contract for providing the platform, and on legal obligation where retention is required by law.

Retention

Enquiries are retained for 24 months. Crew location signals used for drift prediction are retained for 30 days. Commitment records follow the retention period in the customer agreement.

You may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or object to processing. Where we act as a processor we will refer your request to the relevant customer.
